Mid Week Inspiration | GlamGlow Mud Review

Hollywood’s Next Big Secret is Out…Angelina Jolie, Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman are all famous for their flawless, radiant skin on the red carpet, but until recently the secret to that Hollywood glow has been kept under wraps. Well, I can now reveal that GLAMGLOW is that secret.

I was lucky enough to purchase a jar of this ‘amazing’ mud whilst travelling overseas recently and I have to say…it’s worth the hype. Designed as a 10-minute professional ‘facial in a jar’ for behind-the-scenes use in Hollywood’s Entertainment, Music, Fashion & Award Industries. GLAMGLOW’s mud base is from the South of France Mediterranean Sea, home to glamorous Cannes, St. Tropez & Monaco.  The instructions are clear…Twice a week apply a thin layer to clean skin and relax for 10 minutes…at once the feeling is very tingly…almost like gentle ant bites, but this subsides after a few minutes and the mud dries…tight.

After 10  minutes I splashed warm water on my face to loosen the mud and after washing it off…the exfoliation method had done it’s thing. My skin felt so soft and smooth…almost velvety. So,what does it actually do? It activates moisturizing collagen, provides gentle resurfacing exfoliation, tightens the skin, shrinks the appearance of pores and leave the skin bright and soft. Scientific jargon aside, basically it moisturises, exfoliates, shrinks the appearance of pores and makes your skin bright and soft. What’s not to like? And it’s instant. No 30 day disclaimer on this jar of miracles.

Afterwards you’re left with calm, soft and radiant skin that lasts a few days – seriously, this stuff is like a facial in a jar, no wonder Hollywood has been keeping it a closely guarded secret! This is a must have in any beauty junkie’s bathroom cabinet for those days when your complexion is feeling dull and tired. But it’s not cheap. At around $70 for 50ml it’s pretty pricey, for a big box with a little package inside….but considering you’re getting a slice of Hollywood glamour, I think it’s worth it!  You can’t put a price on baby like skin…right?

Go to the GlamGlow website and check it out for yourself
